Designer Bio
Evan Elizabeth McCauley, the collection's founder, has been sewing her own designs since the age of 12. She continued to develop these skills at the the Rhode Island School of Design and later at the Fashion Institute of Technology. Since, she has worked internationally and with the likes of Ferragamo, Lutz and Patmos and Thakoon. After starting a kids' division for the resort collection, Coolchange, she knew she had found her calling. In 2011 she launched her signature collection, Taravat. Inspired by the hand printing and dyeing techniques she encountered in her studies and travels, the Taravat collection brings together a modern sensibility coupled with vibrant colors and pattern.
